The chief editor of the British edition of the fashion magazine Vogue, Alexandra Shulman, told reporters why she was opposed to placing “ordinary people” on the cover of the magazine.

According to Shulman, she was tired of talking about the excessive thinness of the models over the years in the journal. However, when asked about why not place real people on the covers, no one really wants to look at ordinary people in magazines. According to Alexandra, her magazine should wake up the fantasy, escape into the world of dreams, away from real life. No one would acquire a magazine in order to see what they observe daily in the mirror. This can be done for free.
