Dana Borisova has never been distinguished by the forethought of what she is talking about. At a time when Russian singers condole with their colleagues who were blacklisted by Latvia and, thus, did not get the opportunity to visit the New Wave, Borisova confesses her love for singer Valeria.
Recall that Latvia has banned Oleg Gazmanov, Iosif Kobzon and Valeria from visiting the “New Wave” because of their position regarding Ukraine. The named performers, in the opinion of the Latvian side, were “against Ukraine”.
The composer Igor Krutoy made a statement in which he argued that the competition should take place, as before, in Jurmala, in spite of any sanctions.
Dana, in her blog, confessed her love for respecting Valeria as a performer and mother. And she urged not to pay attention to the "envious ones" who do not allow her to "New Wave". Borisova called Valeria a “diamond of our variety art” and predicted “envious people” who did not give her favorite to visit Latvia, that no one would remember their names “tomorrow”.
