With the word "garland" a person associates with a holiday.

In Russia, it is fashionable to colorfully decorate holiday events. This is partly due to New Year’s American films, where the American nation decorates the interior of the house and the house itself from the outside with extraordinary magnificence. Good takes over quickly.

But it’s so chic to change the situation - expensive pleasure.

You can make wonderful garlands sitting at home with your own hands in a couple of hours.

DIY rainbow garland for the holiday

Colored garlands are made simple. Such a task will be mastered by any student. It is only necessary to provide the master with paper and glue.

Materials: double-sided colored paper of medium density, scissors, ruler, thread and needle (if you have experience, a sewing machine will work better).

Stage 1

Stripes are cut from sheets of colored paper. The width of the strips is 1.5 cm. But in this matter, you can choose your own sizes.

Stage 2

In the correct order, like the rainbow spectrum, strips of paper are laid out one after another on the table.

Stage 3

Each strip is sewn to each other, according to its color line. You can do these manipulations on a sewing machine. You can stick the thread to the leaves. The last option is suitable for working with kids.

DIY paper origami garland

Such a garland, in general, is assembled without glue. Work is for experts in their field. Nothing complicated and a lot of fun after.

Materials: colored paper, scissors, ruler.

Stage 1

Stripes are cut out of colored paper. Their size: 17 cm / 2 cm.

Stage 2

Each strip bends in half.

Stage 3

Both ends are also bent in half in equal shares to the center.

Stage 4

And for the last time, the strip bends again in half.

Stage 5

New modules are being made (and in origami art they have just that name) from paper strips for subsequent assembly into a garland with their own hands.

Stage 6 - Assembly

One module is inserted into the other from one edge.

Stage 7

A new module is inserted from the bottom side between the sheets folded inside and removed to the top side of the adjacent module.

In this simple way, the rest of the garland of the desired length is collected.

Do-it-yourself openwork garland of paper hearts

Such a garland initially bears the theme of the event: Birthday, Valentine's Day, March 8 or a wedding event.

Materials: colored paper, glue, stapler, ruler.

Stage 1

Strips of 2 cm wide and 15 cm long are cut from sheets of colored paper.

Stage 2

Two strips are fastened with a paper clip from one edge.

Stage 3

The free ends of the two fastened strips are bent down and connected there with a paper clip. It turned out the first heart for a garland of paper with your own hands.

Stage 4

According to the above scheme, the remaining hearts are made.

The size of the hearts in the garland can be different. Openwork will give paper layering.

Such hearts are made using a familiar technique. But they are not attached to each other, which is also possible, but separately - to the lace. Each openwork heart has a tongue at the top. It is made of thick paper.

DIY Christmas paper garland

In order to make such an electric miracle, you need a garland with bulbs from a holiday goods store.

Materials: thin colored paper, ruler, pencil, scissors, thread, needle.

Stage 1

A wide strip of paper is lined up with the same stripes using a ruler and pencil.

Stage 2

A sheet of paper in the place of the outline of each strip is bent and unbent. The future garland needs to be given ribbing.

Stage 3

It is necessary to do the manipulations described above, but during each bend to carry out a needle on it. The paper needs to be slightly damaged, give it more elasticity and make it more pliable.

Stage 4

An angular strip is drawn in pencil in the center. A needle is held along it. This shape will bend the flashlight later.

Stage 5

The paper folds into an accordion. Oblique sections are carefully bent by hands.

Stage 6

Both ends of the workpiece are glued. It turns out a flashlight.

Stage 7

One tip of the flashlight bends more tightly to the center. You can resort to glue. It is better not to stick tightly - this will help the light bulb, which will appear there later, rather cool.

Stage 8

At the other end, a flashlight is strung on a light bulb of an electric garland. If the shape is weak and does not stay on a light bulb, then the thread and needle will help to cope with this task. The flashlight is sewn along the upper edge with a thread, which can then be tied to a wire.

It is recommended not to leave such a handmade paper garland unattended. All electrical appliances are flammable if used improperly.

You can decorate a Christmas tree or interior with an electric garland with paper lanterns. Unfortunately, it is not suitable for the street. Electrics can not withstand high humidity and daily temperature drops.
